Tarzan – The Lost Adventure | |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This story was begun by Burroughs in 1946 but not finished. In 1994 Dark Horse Comics commissioned Joe Lansdale to take the 83 pages that Burroughs wrote and complete the novel. The book was published by Dark Horse Comics on 12/5/1995. It has a dark green leather cover and gold lettering. The first edition was limited to 1,000 copies and is signed by Danton Burroughs, Edgar's grandson. The dust jacket was illustrated by Dean Williams. In April 1996, Dark Horse Comics reprinted the book which is identical to the first printing other than it lacks Danton's signature and the cover is bound in dark green cloth. The dust jacket is the same as on the first printing though it includes a gold seal which says "FIRST TIME IN PRINT". |
